There are two ways to enable internet access for GDB Remote.
Method 1: OneClick Internet mode. This mode only works for GDB v2. This mode is not supported by GDB v1.
If you are using Android, go to the control screen of the GDB App where you see two big buttons. Tap “Settings Icon”. Tap “Remote Access Mode”. Select “OneClick Internet Access”. Tap “Save” button.
If you are using iPhone, go to the control screen of the GDB App where you see two big buttons. Tap “Settings” on top right. Tap “Remote Access Mode”. Turn “OneClick Internet Access” switch on. Tap “Save” button on top right.
Method 2: Port forwarding.(Advanced users)
For advanced users, you can use port forwarding on your router to enable internet access. This works for both GDB v1 and GDB v2. Please refer to GDB Advanced Mode
Method 3: VPN.(Advanced users)
For advanced users who are familiar with how to setup a home VPN network, this is another good way to setup remote access. Enable VPN server on your router. Then connect your phone as a VPN client to your home VPN. See details in this article.
