If you don’t receive any monitor notification, please check the items below:
1. Check the settings here to make sure notification is enabled.
- Android Settings → Apps → GDB Monitor → Notifications
- Turn on Allow notifications
- Open each notification category and make sure it is not set to Silent
- If there’s a ‘Importance’ setting for the notification, try changing it to to higher importance.
2. Check Battery restrictions
- Settings → Apps → GDB Monitor → App battery usage
- Select Unrestricted
- Also turn on Allow background usage, if shown
3. Allow background data
- Settings → Apps → Telegram → Mobile data & Wi-Fi
- Enable Background data
- Enable Unrestricted data usage if Data Saver is on
4. Disable Do Not Disturb
- Check Settings → Modes → Do Not Disturb
- Also verify that GDB Monitor is not blocked by Bedtime
5. If you are using a watch, some watch setting might silent the notification on your phone.
6. Check if you have google play services turned on. You can use this app to check the status.

7. The phone shouldn’t be in power saving mode during GDB monitor app installation. Also sometimes the notifications can be delayed or missing when the phone is in power saving mode.

9. Uninstall the app and reinstall.
- Log out of the monitor app by tapping the three dots button on top right, then tap “Logout”.
- Go to “Android Settings → Apps → GDB Monitor→Storage & cache”.
- Clear storage. Clear cache.
- Uninstall the monitor app.
- Install the monitor app from play store, and Log in again.
If you are receiving repeating notifications on your Galaxy phone
Check the setting in ‘Settings > Accessibility > Notification reminder’.
